The 6G FORGE event took place at EURECOM in Sophia-Antipolis on April 15-16, 2025, gathering network industry leaders to assess whether 6G development aligns with the requirements of the telecommunications sector and offers value beyond cost reduction. The event emphasized practical, business-oriented viewpoints in response to prevailing industry skepticism.

In this event, Lucia Cabanillas from Telefonica Innovacion Digital (TID), highlighted recent advancements in data management, including data fabric and data governance, and discussed their impact on the dynamically evolving 6G landscape. These are some of the fundamental paradigms that the TID team is exploring in the O-CEI Horizon project to deliver an interoperable, trusted data exchange across application domains within the O-CEI Open Platform.
