Standardisation Leveraging the Hourglass Approach

On September 22nd, O-CEI partner Trialog will organize the “Standardization Leveraging the Hourglass approach” workshop at the AIOTI Days 2025 event in Madrid. The session will explore the widely adopted hourglass framework for promoting interoperability and scalability in technology.

Moderated by Antonio Kung (Trialog), the discussion will focus on how this effective standardization approach can be leveraged by EU-funded projects and aligned with EU policies related to infrastructure. The hourglass model has proven highly successful in creating resilient and adaptable systems, making it a critical framework for ensuring long-term scalability and compatibility in the technology and communications sectors.
