O-CEI Pilot 2 Contributed to CEI-Sphere Webinar on Smart Charging Integration
On 26 June 2026, O-CEI Horizon participated in the CEI-Sphere webinar “Integration of Charging Stations in Cloud–Edge–IoT Environments”, dedicated to the integration of electric vehicle charging infrastructure across distributed Cloud–Edge–IoT ecosystems.
O-CEI was represented through Pilot 2 – Software-Defined Vehicle for VaS in Urban Areas, with contributions from Eusebiu Catana (ERTICO – ITS Europe) and Mihail Gaianu (AUMOVIO). The webinar also featured Antonio Kung and Olivier Maridat from Trialog, O-CEI’s standardization leader, who shared perspectives on interoperability, standards, and the integration of charging stations into connected mobility ecosystems.
The discussion addressed real-world deployment challenges, interoperable architectures, emerging testing tools, and the role of Cloud–Edge–IoT technologies in enabling intelligent and sustainable charging infrastructures. O-CEI’s participation highlighted how Pilot 2 contributes to advancing connected mobility solutions through interoperable, software-defined infrastructures developed within the broader European Cloud–Edge–IoT ecosystem.
