Solar production is booming — but how can our electrical networks cope? Between Solar Panel variability, the need for flexibility, storage solutions and coordination between stakeholders, technical and strategic challenges are multiplying.

This conference, organised in conjunction with the ‘Smart Energy District’ flagship project, explores the challenges of integrating photovoltaics into networks from three complementary perspectives: distributor’s perspective, scientific perspective, transmission network perspective.

More than 150 people from several DSOs and private companies attended the workshop. Prof. Nabil Abdennadher (from HES-SO) presented the O-CEI project.
