Eclipse Foundation, CEI-Sphere, O-CEI Horizon, and COP-PILOT Horizon will organize Code the Continuum Hackathon.
The event will take place on 30 June–1 July 2026 at the University of Cagliari. It brings together students, developers, researchers, innovators, open-source communities, pilot teams, and solution providers to collaborate on practical challenges across the cloud–edge–IoT continuum.
Participants will work on hands-on challenges linked to key application domains such as energy, mobility, and industry. The hackathon provides a space for experimentation, knowledge exchange, and collaboration around open technologies, interoperability, and the reusability of assets across large-scale pilot environments. The final thematic tracks and practical details will be shared in a follow-up announcement.
The event aims to foster collaboration across communities, encourage the adoption of open-source approaches, and explore concrete opportunities for integration and innovation within the European computing continuum ecosystem.
