SUMMARY:V2G Leaders Europe
DESCRIPTION:Europe is moving rapidly toward a future where electric vehicles (EVs) are more than just transport; they are dynamic\, flexible assets for the energy system. The V2G Leaders Europe Summit\, taking place on 20 November 2025 at Area42 in Brussels\, will gather policymakers\, industry leaders\, and innovators to unlock the full potential of vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technologies. \nThe program features two complementary tracks: the Main Summit Stage\, led by the European Commission\, and a parallel set of Workshops and interactive sessions organized by CEI-Sphere and O-CEI. \nSeveral O-CEI partners will take part in the workshop sessions: \n\nO-CEI – Pilot for IoT Platforms and Decentralised Intelligence: A dedicated workshop presenting the O-CEI project\, with speakers from Polytechnic University of Valencia (Project Coordinator)\, OpenNebula Systems (WP4 Coordinator)\, and Eclipse Foundation (Open-Source Leader).\nSectoral and Business Value Chain in V2G: Co-organized by CEI-Sphere and O-CEI\, this workshop will explore cross-sector integration of V2X technologies\, the role of Software Defined Vehicles in enabling V2G\, and conclude with an expert panel on interoperability\, innovation\, and commercial opportunities. Key speakers include representatives from ERTICO (Pilot 2)\, AVL (Pilot 3)\, E-GAP (Pilot 7)\, and BluSpecs (Cluster Leader).\nTrialog – Enabling the Integration of V2G Innovation: Led by Trialog\, the O-CEI Standardization partner\, this workshop will cover applicable regulations\, standardization tools\, and lessons from Horizon Europe projects like SCALE\, highlighting practical insights from the hourglass model applied to O-CEI and other V2G pilots to demonstrate pathways for technology adoption and ecosystem alignment.\n\nTogether\, these workshops will provide a comprehensive technical and strategic view of the V2G landscape\, equipping attendees with the knowledge\, tools\, and connections to advance Europe’s transition toward a flexible\, grid-integrated electric mobility ecosystem.

SUMMARY:Plenary meeting of ISO/IEC JTC1/SC41
DESCRIPTION:Trialog/EVIDEN guidance on using Digital Twin Reference Architecture and contributions to CEI Architecture considerations \nAntonio Kung (Trialog) and Lara Lopez (EVIDEN) both attended the plenary meeting of ISO/IEC JTC1/SC41 in November 2025 in Berlin. JTC 1 is the Joint Technical Committee of ISO and IEC focussing on Information Technology\, and SC41 is the Subcommittee dedicated to “Internet of Things and digital twin”. During this meeting\, Antonio Kung gave a lecture to guide the use of the ISO/IEC 30 188 standard on Digital Twin Reference Architecture\, which recommends the creation of an Hourglass model to describe stakeholders\, capabilities\, and relevant standards at the start of a Digital Twin project. \nMoreover\, Lara Lopez and Antonio Kung\, as editors\, contributed to the JTC 1/SC 41-22 Preliminary Work Item (PWI) they are currently co-editing on the topic of “Architecture considerations for IoT\, edge and cloud”. This future standard aims at providing a technical overview of the architecture in the IoT\, edge\, and cloud with the goal of promoting O-CEI results. The contribution is based on blueprint constructions as shown in the figure.
