SUMMARY:OCX Webinar Week
DESCRIPTION:“Orchestration of Containerized Workloads Towards Energy-Efficiency Across Cloud-Edge-IoT Continuum” Session \nIgnacio Lacalle (UPV\, O-CEI Member) will present the ECLIPSE aeriOS platform and its application to energy flexibility in real-world scenarios requiring distributed and federated orchestration of IoT\, edge\, and cloud computing resources. \nThe presentation will highlight how aeriOS orchestration capabilities can support energy-related use cases across O-CEI Horizon’s Large-Scale Pilots\, demonstrating the potential of open-source technologies to enable flexible\, efficient\, and interoperable solutions across the Cloud-Edge-IoT continuum. \nThe session will also explore the relevance of Hourglass Models and ontologies within O-CEI\, highlighting their role in supporting interoperability and orchestration across diverse systems and resources. \nThis webinar will also set the stage for a future joint aeriOS and O-CEI session planned for OCX Week in April 2027.
