“AI Enables Cybersecurity” Meetup Event 2026

The Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH) represented the O-CEI Horizon Project at the “AI Enables Cybersecurity” Meetup held at the COSMOTE premises in Athens. This technical forum, centred on the theme “From Risk to Resilience,” provided a strategic platform to showcase the security advancements of O-CEI Pilot 7. The presentation focused on the critical challenge of protecting electric vehicle distribution charging infrastructure, highlighting how integrated security frameworks are essential for the future of European energy and mobility networks.

To address these challenges, Pilot 7 utilizes artificial intelligence to secure the entire computing continuum between edge devices and the cloud. This approach ensures robust resilience and trustworthiness within a large-scale, cross-domain pilot located in Rome, where the intersection of power grids and digital services requires sophisticated defence mechanisms. By implementing AI-driven monitoring and design-time security, the initiative establishes a blueprint for autonomous, secure digital infrastructure across the European Union.
