On 17 March, Schneider Electric, O-CEI Horizon’s partner in Pilot 4, will host a dedicated webinar exploring the role of energy equipment providers in enabling the digital transformation of modern energy systems.

The session will highlight how Schneider Electric contributes to the O-CEI Smart Port pilot in Malta, where advanced energy monitoring and control capabilities are essential for managing complex grid environments. In large-scale infrastructures such as ports and island energy systems, real-time data visibility and actuation over the energy grid are critical to ensure efficiency, resilience, and coordinated energy management.

During the webinar, Schneider Electric will present how its One Digital Grid Platform supports these capabilities by providing the technological foundation for grid monitoring, optimisation, and interoperability across energy infrastructures. The discussion will also illustrate how Schneider Electric’s participation in the O-CEI ecosystem enables innovation opportunities for stakeholders such as maritime terminals and local Distribution System Operators (DSOs), helping to connect operational infrastructure with advanced digital services.

By showcasing concrete use cases and technology concepts, the session will demonstrate how digital grid platforms can support scalable and transferable solutions for future Cloud-Edge-IoT-enabled energy systems, contributing to the broader objectives of the O-CEI project.
