Pilot 8 organised a workshop bringing together key tourism actors from the Val d’Anniviers, including hotel, ski resort, and the local Tourism Office. The goal was to collectively map a systemic view of the valley and build a shared vision for promoting the energy transition while strengthening Val d’Anniviers as an attractive tourist destination.
The workshop was structured in two parts. The first focused on identifying measures and best practices implemented in other countries and across Switzerland, followed by an open discussion on what could realistically be applied in the valley. The second part was dedicated to co-creating a future scenario that positions Val d’Anniviers as a pioneer in the energy transition.
As a first outcome, the workshop produced a draft identifying key pain points and potential areas for improvement. The next step will be to gather feedback from tourists on this prospective vision.
